Who We Are

Founded in 2003, the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano covers numerous areas of research, education and high level consultancy in the fields of economics, management and industrial engineering, which Politecnico di Milano undertakes through its own structures and those of the consortium.

The School of Management is composed of: the Department of Management Engineering and MIP, the Business School of Politecnico di Milano.

Overall, there are over two hundred professors, lecturers, researchers, tutors and staff members and every year over 600 new students enrol in the undergraduate programme.

In 2007, the School of Management achieved the prestigious EQUIS accreditation (European Quality Improvement System) and joined the circle of the 120 leading business schools accredited by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).

Since December 2009, the School of Management has been included in the Financial Times’ ratings of top European Business Schools, being the only Italian business school included for three Master degrees: Executive MBA, Full-time MBA and Master of Science in Management Engineering. The Executive MBA is the only EMBA offered by an Italian business school to be included in the rankings, while the MSc in Management Engineering is the only Italian Master degree to be similarly included.
