Abstract
:

Logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) has been an academic discipline for more than four decades. This session explores how LSCM evolved as a research domain/discipline and aims to discuss its current state. However, LSCM research is permanently developing due to emergence of disruptive technologies, climate change and/or the existence of more and more global supply chains. Consequently, this session also seeks to discuss the future of research in this particular field.

Herbert Kotzab is Professor at Institute of Logistics Management – University of Bremen.
