This highly prestigious recognition highlights the scientific impact and international standing of the POLIMI School of Management faculty within the field of business and management research

It is an important recognition for the School within the academic research landscape. Four faculty members from the School rank among the top 20 scholars nationally in the field of management in the Best Business and Management Scientists in Italy 2026 ranking published by Research.com

Massimo Colombo (3rd place), Federico Frattini (13th place), Vittorio Chiesa (17th place) and Federico Caniato (18th place) are key figures in this result, which attests to the quality, continuity and impact of the School’s research.

The ranking is based on the D-index (Discipline H-index), a metric that measures scientific impact by considering only publications and citations within the Business and Management field.
