Highlights

The 2026 edition of European Union Week.

24 March 2026

From 4 to 8 May 2026, European Union Week will return. This initiative is dedicated to promoting dialogue, international cooperation, and innovation around the key issues that shape the European Union.

Now in its sixth year, EUW continues to stand out as a landmark event in the international academic calendar. It was created to highlight the role of the European Union and to encourage open discussion about its future in a world increasingly affected by major economic, social and geopolitical changes.

Throughout the week, students, alumni, professionals, and interested members of the public will have the opportunity to participate in a diverse programme of in-person and online events. These events are designed to explore the value of the European project and the key challenges that are shaping its evolution. This multidisciplinary forum will bring together a variety of perspectives and encourage shared reflection on issues central to Europe’s future.

At the heart of the programme will be some of the most pressing topics in today’s European debate:

  • climate protection and sustainability
  • digitalisation and innovation
  • migration and security
  • democracy and the rule of law

Also for the 2026 edition, our School renews its commitment to European Union Week, actively contributing to the promotion of an informed and inclusive dialogue on the role of the European Union, its impact on contemporary society, and the opportunities it offers to younger generations, institutions and the business community.

A rich programme of events exploring Europe’s present and future.

The 2026 edition of European Union Week features a variety of seminars, thematic meetings and in-depth sessions with professionals, academics and distinguished speakers from different fields. Through their contributions and different viewpoints, the speakers will offer valuable insights into the ongoing transformations and the challenges currently facing the European Union.

The initiative also represents an important opportunity to expand one’s international network, engage with experts in the field and further explore the strategic value of European cooperation in the areas of innovation, sustainability, economic development and social progress.
