Matteo Kalchschmidt is Full Professor of Business Management and Organization at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. He is an active member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA). His research interests are in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management, with particular attention to Demand management, Global value chains, Sustainable supply chain management, and Digitalization in operations. He authored several international publications in Operations and Supply Chain Management journals and he is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Operations Management Research: Advancing Practice through Theory.

The research interests of Matteo Kalchschmidt are in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. In the last years he has focused on Supply Chain Sustainability and Digitalization in Operations.
