Research

Silvia's research is situated at the intersection of entrepreneurship and social psychology. She looks at entrepreneurship from an individual point of view and investigates the role of cognition and emotions within the entrepreneurial process. Silvia's research interests focus on: entrepreneurial passion and other emotions in the entrepreneurial process; non-rational decision-making criteria, heuristics, intuition of entrepreneurs and investors; emotion regulation, stress, and mental health in entrepreneurship.
