Raffaella Cagliano is a Full Professor of People Management and Organisation at the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano.
She is Head of the Department of Management Engineering and a member of the Board of Directors of the POLIMI Graduate School of Management.
She is a Fellow of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), of which she was President from 2010 to 2013.
She is a recognised researcher for her studies on organisational models and their relationship with technological innovation, with a particular focus on Operations and the Supply Chain; she also works on sustainability-oriented innovation, particularly in relation to the agri-food supply chain.
She is Co-Scientific Director of the Food Sustainability Lab at the POLIMI School of Management.
She is the author of several books and over 60 articles published in international journals. Several of her works have received awards for their excellence.
She is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Operations and Production Management and the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Studi Organizzativi.
