Daniele Valenti obtained his MSc in Finance from the University of Pavia and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Lombardy Advanced School for Economic Research (LASER – an inter-university doctoral program in Economics across the Universities of Bergamo, Brescia, Milan, and Pavia). His dissertation focused on modeling the global price of oil within a Bayesian Structural VAR framework.
He is currently an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) in Econometrics at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, Politecnico di Milano. His research interests mainly concern energy, environmental, and agricultural economics, and he is the author of several articles published in international journals.
Daniele is also involved in the research program Econometrics of the Energy Transition at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), serves as a consultant economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and works as a teaching assistant in Financial Econometrics and Microeconomics at Politecnico di Milano. In addition, he lectures in the MSc course in Econometrics at Carlo Cattaneo University (LIUC), Castellanza, Italy.
