Digital Innovation in the Energy Supply Chain

About the project

This ongoing research investigates why, where and how organizations in the energy sector are adopting digital transformation in their operations and supply chains. Following a systematic review of the literature, a novel conceptual model is developed to help the planning and management of the transition in organizations that run complex capital projects. The conceptual model has been used so far to investigate seven case studies. Findings and results from the cases also stimulated a refinement of the model.

Principal Investigator:  Paolo Trucco

Researcher team:  Yasmine Sabri, Mauro Mancini, Guido Micheli

Funders: ANIMP, Fondazione De Januario (FDJ)

Duration: 2017-to date

Partners: ANIMP, IPMA, FDJ, Aaston University
