Giulia Bartezzaghi is Program Manager of the Food Sustainability Lab. Her main research area is focused on sustainability-oriented innovation and circular economy in the agri-food sector. Within the Lab, she is Director of the Food Sustainability Observatory and Project Manager of other experimental projects aimed at promoting more sustainable agri-food systems through innovations in technologies, value chains, business models and urban food policies, as well as recovering and redistributing surplus food for social need within the urban context. Research interests: Sustainability-oriented innovation in the agri-food supply chain, Surplus Food Recovery & Redistribution, Circular Economy in the agri-food system, Sustainable business models and startups.
