Emilio Bellini is Assistant Professor of Business Innovation at the School of Management - Politecnico di Milano, where he serves also as Co-Founder of LEADIN' Lab, the Laboratory for LEAdership, Design and INnovation. He is also Scientific Officer of the Observatory “Digital Innovation in Retail”. He serves at the Polimi Graduate School of Management as Co-Director of the Executive Programme in “Innovation and Design Management” and as Advisor for Executive Education Experience. He has published more than 60 conference articles, journal papers and chapters in edited books in the area of Innovation Management.

His primary research fields lies at the intersection between Leadership, Design and Innovation. In particular, he focuses on the Innovation of Meaning and on the New Service Development (mainly focusing on the Retail services and digital technologies, searching for new configurations to offer meaningful experiences). On these topics he has published in journals such as Creativity and Innovation Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Knowledge Management Studies, International Journal of Information Systems and Change Management and International Journal of Project Management.
