Laura Grassi, PhD is Assistant Professor of Investment Banking at Politecnico di Milano and Vice-Director of the International MBA at Polimi Graduate School of Management. As Director of the Fintech & Insurtech Observatory, she is involved in stimulating digital innovation in the financial industry in Italy, collaborating with financial institutions, startups and public administrations, being author of publications at national and international level. She is co-supervisor of the Politecnico di Milano team in the CFA Research Challenge, resulting three times in the Top EMEA Champions and two times in the Global Final Champions (Top4 worldwide).

Her main research interest is in the corporate governance field and in innovation and digitalization of the financial industry (Fintech and Insurtech), with a strong focus on strategical implications, business models and valuation, implementing both quantitative and qualitative methods.
