Over 20 years' experience in development cooperation and a PhD in Economics of Development and Production. She published on water access, China presence in Africa, trade and food security. She has worked in 8 different countries of sub-Saharan Africa and in China.

Research

Marta Marson research is mostly oriented towards empirical works on development topics, including water access, China presence in Africa, economic freedom, trade and food security. More recent works include modelling of georeferenced data about FDI, deforestation, infrastructure.
