Sustainable Development is a major challenge and a joint responsibility for companies as well as governments, people and society as a whole. It is widely recognized that large corporations can play a key role in contributing to a more sustainable world, but often fail in doing so through the lack of skills and knowledge on sustainability issues and their possible solutions. In this context, cross-sector partnerships between large for-profit companies and social enterprises, start-ups, NGOs and and non-profit organizations can create win-win scenarios, combining their forces and effort to develop and spread sustainability-oriented innovation.

We will discuss the opportunities and challenges of “collaborating for sustainability” with a prominent panel of speakers from the academic, business and non-profit world.

The panel will be introduced and moderated by Raffaella Cagliano, Professor of People Management & Organization at Politecnico di Milano School of Management

Speakers
  • Mario Calderini, Full Professor of Strategy and Social Innovation at Politecnico di Milano School of Management
  • Gaela Bernini, Secretary-General at Fondazione Bracco
  • Marco Magnelli, Managing Director at Banco Alimentare della Lombardia
  • Barbara Terenghi, Executive Assistant to CEO & Leader Transformation Team at EDISON

The event will be held English.
