A look at PwC’s sustainable strategy with Francesco Ferrara

MIP returns with our Purpose Talks, a series of events featuring lecturers, consultants, business managers and coaches who will explain how companies and organisations are moving in practical terms towards a new business model inspired by a “higher purpose”, which sees people and society as fundamental elements in creating a successful business.

The idea of a ‘higher purpose’ cannot disregard the issue of sustainability. Businesses today are called upon to innovate their way of competing, leveraging environmental and social sustainability, and governance.

  • What are the challenges that companies face regarding these three macro aspects of sustainability?
  • What might be the transformations that will necessarily impact on business thinking?
  • How is a “sustainable” strategy developed?

On Thursday, April 21st, 2022, take part in the third of MIP’s Purpose Talk series and do not miss the contributions made by Francesco Ferrara, Assurance partner and ESG Leader for the PwC network in Italy, and Josip Kotlar, Associate Professor of Strategy, Innovation and Family Business at MIP Politecnico di Milano, who will discuss the challenges that every company is experiencing.

The event will be inaugurated by Antonella Moretto, Associate Dean of MIP Graduate School of Business, who will present MIP’s International Full-Time MBA, focusing on the programme and its objectives.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet these great professionals and to discover the features of our purpose-driven MBA.

Below is the agenda for the event:
  • 17:30 – 18:00 – Antonella Moretto, FT MBA presentation
  • 18:00 – 19:00 – Josip Kotlar and Francesco Ferrara, Purpose Talks  ̶  PwC Experience
