Resilience of Critical Infrastructure: governance, collaborative solutions and risk analysis

About the project

Managing CI protection and resilience entails governance models, assessment methods, and the promotion of good practices. The research group has a decade of research experience covering the full spectrum of needs of emergency management agencies, first responders, CI operators, and governmental bodies. The interplay between technical, organisational and social aspects is particularly investigated, making use of different modelling techniques and novel risk and resilience assessment methods.

KEY RESEARCH QUESTIONS

Managing CI protection and resilience entails governance models, proper risk and resilience analysis methods, and the promotion of good practices through the direct involvement of all the stakeholders.

The research group has a decade of research experience thanks to a long track record of international and national research projects as well as consulting and advisory services for public bodies. Ongoing and past activities cover the full spectrum of needs of national and local emergency management agencies, first responders, CI operators, and governmental bodies. The interplay between technical, organisational and social aspects is particularly investigated, making use of different modelling techniques and novel risk and resilience assessment methods.
