Giuliano Noci is full professor of Strategy and Marketing. From 2011, he is the Vice-Rector for China of Politecnico di Milano. He is currently a board member of Management Engineering Department; a board member of MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business; a member of Board of Directors of Polimilano Educational Consulting Ltd, an entity established by Politecnico di Milano to foster post-graduate education and technological transfer projects in China.

Antonella Moretto is Senior Assistant Professor at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, with abilitation as Associate Professor since July 2017. She teaches Supplier Relationship Management at the MSc of Management Engineering and she is part of the core faculty of the MIP Graduate School of Business in the area of Purchasing and Supply Management. At the MIP Graduate School of Business, she is the Vice Director of the MBA and Executive MBA Area at the MIP. At the DIG, she is co-Director of the Observatory Supply Chain Finance of Politecnico di Milano. Since 2016, she is executive committee member of Ipsera, the international research association of Purchasing and Supply Management, where she served as responsible for bursaries and awards. She is also member of EurOMA (European Operations Management Association) and of AiIG (Associazione Italiana Ingegneria Gestionale). Over the years, she was involved in several consulting projects in the area of Purchasing and Supply Management and she collaborate with GEA – Management Consulting in the years 2013-2015.

Born in 1973, he graduated in Management Engineering, cum laude, in 1998 at Politecnico di Milano, with a Master Thesis about “Strategic Stocks sizing through uncertainty deployment”. After a visiting period at UCLA, he got is PhD in Management Engineering in 2003, from Politecnico di Milano, with a PhD dissertation about “Techniques and tools for multisite production management”. Currently he is Associate professor, teaching Industrial Plants Design and Advanced Supply Chain Planning, respectively to BS and MS students. He is core faculty member of MIP, co-director of three Observatories (Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence) and co-director of the IoTLab, the applied research lab on Internet of Things technologies promoted by Politecnico di Milano.

Guido J.L. Micheli is Associate Professor of Industrial Plants Engineering and Management at Politecnico di Milano – Italy, and co-Director of the specialised international Masters in Supply Chain & Purchasing Management at MIP – Graduate School of Business. He is member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), of the Italian Industrial Plant Association (ANIMP - Associazione Nazionale di IMPiantistica industriale), and of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (Associazione Italiana Docenti di Impianti Industriale - AIDI). He is the author of more than 130 papers at a national and international level.

Marco Melacini is Associate Professor of Logistics Management at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches the courses Logistics Management and International Distribution at the Master of Science in Management Engineering. He is Director of the Observatory on Contract Logistics and Member of the Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) of IJPDLM. He is part of the Board of the Ph.D in Management Engineering. He is author of more than 100 papers at national and international level. He was involved in more than 30 research/technology transfer projects
