Arrigo Berni, Chairman at Moleskine After graduating in Economics and obtaining a diploma from the Scuola Superiore S. Anna of the University of Pisa, Arrigo Berni joined Procter&Gamble as Brand Manager. He then moved to management consulting with Bain&Co, to finally go back to the corporate world joining Bulgari, the Italian jewelry house. Here, he was first MD of North American Operations and later MD Bulgari Global Operation. In the early 2000’s he became the first non-family CEO of luxury shoes and leather goods brand A. Testoni. In 2006, he led the successful buy-in/buy-out of Moleskine and was appointed CEO. Since then he has transformed a small company into a global company of 500+ people and €180 million turnover. After listing the company on the Italian Stock Exchange in 2013, he led the acquisition by the Belgian Group D’Ieteren. |
