About the Speaker

Carsten Bartsch

Prof. Dr. Carsten Bartsch studied Business Administration in Saarbruecken, Midland and Washington (D.C.) and completed his Ph.D. in Marketing in 2001 at HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management.

He currently serves as Vice-President, Director of Business Programs and Professor for Marketing and Strategy at HDBW – Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft in Munich. Furthermore, he has a background in consulting – as Project-Manager with a spin-off of an international consulting firm and afterwards as founding CEO of an SME-focused consulting company.

Since 2009, he has been working as consultant and executive trainer for multinational firms specialized in the fields of marketing, strategy and (digital) business modeling. His special industry focus lies on banking, financial services and other complex service industries. In these fields, he successfully completed consulting projects in Europe and the Middle East.

Prof. Bartsch teaches our MBA and Executive MBA students, serving as Visiting Professor.
