On Wednesday, September 15th at 6.30 PM CEST, join us for the online presentation dedicated to MIP’s new International Master in Cybersecurity Management (IMCyM), entirely taught in English.

The International Master in Cybersecurity Management (IMCyM) will provide students with the key management skills to set up a corporate cybersecurity management system, preparing them to understand cybersecurity risk, its potential impact on businesses and possible countermeasures, with important insights into governance, compliance and regulatory issues.

Professor Paolo Maccarrone, IMCyM Director, will present the structure of the Master programme, the entry requirements and will also discuss possible career opportunities with Claudio de Paoli, Head of Cyber Security and Head of CyberSec Center of Excellence at BIP, and Paolo Pogliano, CEO and Founder of Seta both educational partners of the Master.

About the Speakers

Claudio De Paoli, Head Of cyber Security and Head of CyberSec Center of Excellence @BIP

Graduated with honors in mathematics in 1993, he has over 25 years of experience in the ICT sector. From 1993 to 2000 he worked for several Italian and international companies.
In 2000 he joined the Consulting division of HP, where he held different leadership roles, up to the IT Security Practice establishment, that he led until 2009. In 2009 he joined RSA as EMEA South Director of the Professional Service division.
In December 2012 he founded together with BIP – one of the fastest growing consultancies in Europe – CyberSec Partners, a subsidiary of BIP focused on Cyber Security & Compliance services. In 2016 CyberSec Partners has been incorporated in Bip and Claudio becomes an Equity Partner of Bip.
Today CyberSec is a Center of Excellence inside Bip composed by a team of +200 professionals involved in international projects for several customers in different market sectors: Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Telco, Media & Entertainment.

Paolo Pogliano, CEO of SETA – Security Talent Academy

Having graduated with honours in Information Technology in 1986, he worked for many years as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Enel, also holding the AI course at Brescia University. In 1999 he joined Sorgenia during the energy company’s start-up phase and helped it grow to reach a €2bn turnover and 500,000 customers. Here, he held the role of Group CIO until 2009 and then founded and managed the Distributed Generation Business Unit. Since 2014 he has been working as a Partner at Reply, a leading ICT Consulting Company, and subsequently as Strategy and Technology Advisor for various energy and utilities companies. In 2020 he co-founded SETA, a company focused on live and e-learning Cybersecurity Education, which he is currently leading as CEO.
