“Industry 4.0: How companies are evolving” – Join the Discussion with Samsung and Pirelli

On Saturday, March 9th at 10 AM, we are glad to invite you to join our next on-campus presentation that will be held at the Industry 4.0 Laboratory of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano (Bovisa Campus). During the event you will have the chance to learn more about our International MBA programs (International Full Time MBA, International Part Time MBA, Distance Learning MBA), designed to accelerate the professional growth of all our students by preparing them to become drivers of innovation.

On the occasion of the MBA DAY you will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the ecosystem of Politecnico di Milano, since, within the Industry 4.0 Laboratory, Professor Sergio Terzi, Director of the MIP Management Academy and Co-Director of the Observatory of Industry 4.0 will talk about how our school is contributing to train managers able to manage the technological innovations of Industry 4.0. Ilker Ahmet Kalali, Head of Industrial Engineering and Smart Manufacturing at Pirelli Tyre and Antonio Bosio, Head of Product and Solutions at Samsung, will join the discussion describing how these two important players are strategically integrating Industry 4.0 into their processes, thus completely reframing the traditional business and industry value chain.

The event will finish at 1 PM with a light lunch of networking during which you will meet other like-minded professionals, who just like you are willing to undertake an MBA to grow personally and professionally and to stay ahead of latest business trends. Company lecturers

ANTONIO BOSIO Solid engineering education, he used to work in the field of the technology development within global companies where he contributed to the launch of the most successful implementations. In 2002 he joined Samsung Electronics Italia where, as Head of Product and Solutions, he is responsible for the development of products and services, both in the Consumer and Business segment. He joined and coordinated several working groups on Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity.

ILKER AHMET KALALI Ilker heads up 120 Industrial Engineering and 156 Pirelli Manufacturing Systems Professionals and a team of 7 in HQ, in 18 factories across 5 regions (Europe, China, Nafta, Russia and Latin America). His biggest success is Pirelli’s implementation of flexible factory and smart manufacturing programs, creating agility across the plants and beginning to yield financial results. He sees the biggest opportunity in manufacturing and digitalization to encourage flexibility and tackle emerging complexities in factories.
