Monica Nicoli is Assistant Professor in Telecommunications at Politecnico di Milano. She received the M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering (cum laude) and the Ph.D. in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. She was Visiting Researcher with Uppsala University, in 2001. She co-authored more than 100 scientific publications. She is recipient of the 2018 IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop and the 2014 IET Intelligent Transport Systems Journal Best Paper Awards, the 1999 Marisa Bellisario Award and the 1999 SPE-EAGE Best Thesis Award.
