Lucia Piscitello is Professor of International Business at Politecnico di Milano and at the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK, where she is also co-director of the John H. Dunning Center for International Business. Her research interests cover the economics and management of MNEs, the international aspects of technological change, the geography of innovation. She is Associate Editor of the Global Strategy Journal, and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. She acts as external expert for the Department of Geography & Environment, London School of Economics, UK. She is a Fellow, Past President, and Chair of the European International Business Academy (EIBA).

Sara Perotti, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Logistics and Industrial Plant Engineering at Politecnico di Milano – Italy. She is a Member of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (Assciazione Italiana Docenti di Impianti Industriale - AIDI). She is the author of more than 60 papers at national and international level, mainly on the subjects of Logistics, Warehousing, ICT supporting Logistics and Freight Transport, Supply Chain Sustainability, Contract Logistics and eCommerce Logistics.

Margherita Pero is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano – Italy. She teaches Business processes reengineering, Industrial Management and Supply chain management at both undergraduate and post-graduate level at Politecnico di Milano. She is director of FlexEMBA program at MIP – Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business. She is member of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (Associazione Italiana Docenti di Impianti Industriale - AIDI). She is the author of more than 100 papers at national and international level.

Professor of Logistics Management at POLIMI, has more than 20 years of experience in the analysis and assessment of digital technologies. He is one of the founders and the current Scientific Director of the Digital Innovation Observatories of POLIMI leading a group of about 100 researchers. Currently, Alessandro Perego is also the Head of the DIG Department and member of POLIMI Senate. Founder and Board Member of “Banco Alimentare” Foundation. Member of the Board of Directors of MIP Graduate Business School. Scientific Director of the loT (Internet of Things) Lab.

Fabio Pammolli is full professor of economics and management. Since 2015 is a Member of the Investment Committee of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) at the European Investment Bank, Luxembourg. From November 1990 to November 2001 Pammolli was assistant professor (1990-1996) and then associate professor (1996-2004) of Economics and Management, University of Siena, Italy.

Carlotta Orsenigo is associate professor of computer science at Politecnico di Milano where she teaches courses in Optimization and Machine Learning. She is also co-director of the International Master in Business Analytics and Big Data at MIP-Politecnico di Milano and founder an head of research of Aiblooms, a spin-off of Politecnico di Milano devoted to the development of software based on machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
