Cecilia D’Agostino is a PhD candidate in the Entrepreneurship, Finance and Innovation research group at the Department of Management Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. With an economics background, she investigates theoretical and practical models contributing to both academic research and industry development. Her PhD research deals with entrepreneurial practices of start-ups and small and medium businesses, by focusing on innovation patterns of creative industries and their effects on business performance. She is also currently involved in a publicly funded research project.
