Research interests: The digital innovation of the public sector in italy. The aim of the research is to understand the opportunities created by digital innovation for the public sector, with a focus on the potential of digital to improve internal and back-office processes. Specifically: 1) to analyse the degree of diffusion of digital tools in Italian public institutions; 2) to analyse the enabling factors and obstacles related to the use of digital tools in the public sector, both in relations with external users and in internal procedures; 3) to analyse the impacts associated with the use of digital tools by public institutions, with particular reference to the impact on internal and back-office processes.
