Hoxha Gezim

Gezim Hoxha is a Ph.D. candidate in the Double Degree Programme in Management Engineering - School of Management at Politecnico di Milano and in the International Business and Strategy programme at the Henley Business School – University of Reading, UK. His background is in Economics and Management from the University of Bologna – Italy and in the International Business studies from the University of Fribourg – Switzerland. Gezim is also engaged as a teaching assistant in the course of Development Economics at Politecnico di Milano.

Research interests: His research interests are in the area of international business and strategy with a focus on the - role of the digitalization and new technologies in multinational enterprises – MNEs both in developed and emerging markets; strategic decisions in production, internationalisation, and skill development; internationalisation strategies including exports and foreign direct investment (FDI) decisions; entry mode and location choice of companies.
Research projects: The role of the adoption of digital technologies on firms' international activities (e.i., exports and FDI activity).
