Jonathan is a research fellow at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan and affiliated scientist at RFF- CMCC (EIEE). He has sixteen years of experience as climate scientist, authoring about fifty scientific publications and contributing to IPCC-AR6, World Atlas of Desertification, GAR SR-Drought 2021, and Copernicus ESoC 2022. After the PhD in Physics (Univ. of Milan), he moved to the European Commission’s JRC as researcher on climate, drought, and desertification. His research now deals with deep uncertainties of climate and socio-economic scenarios (EUNICE project). He is also involved in the activities of the UNCCD
