Giulia Valentini is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering as part of the Economic Mindset research group and of the Food Sustainability Lab of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. Her research fields focus on developing instruments and methods for sustainable agri-food systems, from performance measurement to process redesign, studying ecosystems for circularity, resource efficiency and social inclusion (e.g. policies for food waste reduction; surplus food management, recovery and redistribution for social need).
