Research

Main research topics are Lean management and all Operational Excellence approaches, addressing them at a strategic and at an operational level. Both in service and in manufacturing companies. Latest developments are related to Lean implementation in low volume-high variety companies, Lean Start-up, and the development of Lean and OPEX approaches with the digital revolution. A particular interest is in understanding and bettering improvement practices and in developing the improvement capabilities of manufacturing and service companies. Quite active is also the research activity about Production and supply chain planning and control systems (e.g. WorkLoad Control)
