Andrea Odille Bosio is Assistant Professor at at the Department of Management Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. Since 2023 he is professor of Project Finance at the Polimi Graduate School of Management. He is lecturer of Corporate Finance at LIUC - Università Carlo Cattaneo for several courses. In 2022 he also served as visiting professor in Private Equity at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - HSLU. Since 2017 he has been a research collaborator at AIFI – Italian Association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt. He is also project manager at IBAN - Italian Business Angels Network Association.

Research

Andrea's main research area is Entrepreneurial Finance and Alternative Investments (including Infrastructure). The scope of his late academic research involves analyzing: the dynamics of early-stage investments by venture capitalist and business angels; their effect on startups; the effects of policies in support to early-stage investments. Some of the key topics of his latest research are: internationalization, innovation and ESG. He studies these topics empirically with quantitative methodologies.
