Giacomo Pignataro is full professor of Public Finance at the Università di Catania. He holds a PhD in Economics at the University of York (UK). He has directed post-graduate courses in health economics and has been the PI of regional, national and european research projects. He has acted as President of the Italian Health Economics Association. He was the Rector of the Università di Catania from 2013 to 2016.
