Adalberto Polenghi is an Assistant Professor in the Manufacturing Group at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Research

The research interests of Adalberto mainly relates to operations management of manufacturing companies. Specifically, Smart Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, Prognostics and Health Management as well as Engineering Asset Management are core parts of his research and projects. He adopts various models and algorithms for his research, from statistical approaches to machine learning models as well as symbolic AI, such as ontology engineering. His research is deployed in company shop floor so to improve maintenance and production performance.
