Raffaella Cagliano is Full Professor of People Management and Organization at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. She is Director of the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering and a member of the Board of POLIMI Graduate School of Management. She is Fellow of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) and has been President from 2010 to 2013. She is a renowned researcher in the field of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Strategies, with particular emphasis on organizational models and Sustainable innovation. Raffaella Cagliano developed an intense research activity around the following themes: Innovation of organizational models and paradigms in Operations; Manufacturing and Supply Chain Strategies; Sustainability oriented innovation. Recently she is studying collaborations for Sustainability Oriented Innovation in the agri-food supply chains and new organizational models for Industry 4.0. She is co-director of the Food Sustainability Observatory and contributes to the Industry 4.0 Observatory of Politecnico di Milano. She is an active member of the European Operations Management Association and part of Scientific Committee of the EurOMA Sustainable Operations and Supply Chains Forum.
