Diego Babuder is an Executive Ph.D. candidate in Management Engineering at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Alongside his research activities, he works as an airline pilot out of Milan Malpensa airport. He is currently developing a four-year research project in partnership with his employer, easyJet, on how airlines can contribute to the decarbonisation of the aeronautical sector and reduce the effects of climate change. Before starting his doctorate, he had already collaborated with Politecnico di Milano on the lessons of the first level master’s course in “Fundamentals of the Air Transport System”.
