He worked 25 years in ICT market for major ICT solution providers and hardware manufacturers. He has specific experience on application of ICT technologies to industrial environments with specific focus on Logistics, Process Control and Networking. He was founder and director of the European Innovation Center for Emerging Technologies of Hewlett-Packard Europe. In the last 15 years he collaborated as Research Coordinator in the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano in the Manufacturing Group of the School of Management (SOM).
