The event ‘Inclusion and Well-being through Space Design’ is a satellite event of the New European Bauhaus festival, the initiative of the European Union which brings together citizens, experts, businesses, and institutions together to reimagine sustainable living in Europe and beyond.
Hosted at POLIMI (Leonardo Campus), this event is a melting pot of ideas, offering a transdisciplinary exploration into how the design and management of workspaces can significantly enhance worker inclusion and well-being.
The event will delve into groundbreaking research findings that reveal the profound influence of spatial design on fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, featuring insights from Juriaan Van Meel (Centre of People and Buildings), Jeannine van der Linden (European Coworking Assembly), along with Alessandra Migliore and Chiara Tagliaro from Politecnico di Milano.
The dialogue continues with a vibrant exchange among leading experts and innovators across the realms of real estate, architecture, organization, and policy making. Our esteemed panel includes Federica Pedroni (CBRE), Sara Busnelli (ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel), Hassan Shaikh (Boehringer Ingelheim), Marco Gastoldi (Gensler UK), and Demetrio Scopelliti (Agenzia Mobilità, Ambiente e Territorio – AMAT), who will share their visions for the future of workspace design and management at various scales.
The culmination of the event is an interactive session where attendees are invited to dive into thought-provoking discussions across three roundtables – moderated by Sebastiano Marconcini, Erica Isa Mosca and Carla Sedini – to transcend traditional boundaries and discover holistic strategies that can transform work environments towards inclusion.
This event is an open invitation to anyone passionate about creating a more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive world. Whether you are a Corporate Real Estate or Facility Manager, a Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion Practitioner, a Workplace Design Professional, a Researcher, a Student, or a Public Representative, your voice and insights are invaluable to our collective discussion.
