What does it mean to Think International?
The first step has to be a change in mindset, which we aim to bring about by giving students the chance to know and understand the intrinsic, long-term value of an international experience before they have to take the actual step of choosing among the many opportunities offered by the University.

It is never too soon to start thinking about it. And this is why these events have been organized by the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering for all Bachelor and Master of Science students, in collaboration with professors, students, alumni, and international partners: to help students think strategically with their mind open to the rest of the world, with curiosity and without any kind of prejudice.

Veronica Ceruti, Career Advisor, Career Service Office, Politecnico di Milano
Alessandro Fumi, MSc in Management Engineering Graduate, Politecnico di Milano
Prof. Sergio Terzi, Mobility Programs Coordinator, Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering

Spending a period abroad, it be a short exchange or a double degree, goes way beyond making new friends or getting to know a different country. While these are two important and valuable aspects, many more should be considered when deciding to embark in such a life-changing experience. With the help of Veronica Ceruti, Career Advisor within the Polimi Career Service Office, you will learn more about the added value of studying abroad, for your personal and professional growth; you will learn, for example, how to best approach it and which skills it will help you develop, how to highlight it on your CV, and how much it is appreciated by HR recruiters in the hiring process. In addition to this, the event will also be a great opportunity to hear it all from a Management Engineering recent graduate, who spent two semesters abroad, and certainly made the most of them! Professor Sergio Terzi, Coordinator of the Management Engineering Mobility Programs, will moderate the event.

Below is the recording of the event.
