Jie is a double degree PhD student in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and in Management at Copenhagen Business School since 2019. She acquired her Bsc in Civil Engineering and worked as a junior consultant for 5 years in China. Since 2015, she moved to Italy and started her double degree program of Msc in Management of Built Environment and Msc in Management Engineering. She is keen in the gender issues, multicultural and entrepreneurial activities. She has initiated and organized several events sponsored by Politecnico di Milano and an internship program sponsored by a private company in China.

Research

Research interests: Her main research interests are related to the factors that originate a gender gap in entrepreneurial finance and hamper access by women to external finance through different channels; Moreover, the research aims at identifying policy measures that contrast and alleviate the gender gap in this aspect, allowing female entrepreneurs to get fair access to financial capital and enhance the performance of their ventures.
