Daniel Trabucchi is Assistant Professor in the area of Innovation Management at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, where he is also a member of LEADIN' Lab, the Laboratory for Leadership, Design and Innovation. He is a Senior Researcher in IDeaLs, the global research platform that aims to study how to engage people to make innovation happen. He teaches in the area of Innovation, Design and Project Management, focusing in particular on the topics of Technological Innovation and Project Management.

His research activities focus on the area of innovation management, with various perspectives. The main research field deals with digital two-sided platforms, exploring the peculiarities of those businesses in terms of value creation, value capturing and their business model implications. Other research streams deal with the Engagement of people in innovation activities and with innovation strategies (paying particular attention to the innovation of meaning and technology epiphanies) and agile approaches.
