Daniel Trabucchi is Assistant Professor in the area of Innovation Management at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, where he is also a member of LEADIN' Lab, the Laboratory for Leadership, Design and Innovation. He has two main areas of research and teaching: platform thinking and the human side of innovation (with strong focuses on engagement and agile methods to make innovation happen, within the research platform IDeaLs). His research activities focus on the area of innovation management, with various perspectives. The main research field deals with digital two-sided platforms, exploring the peculiarities of those businesses in terms of value creation, value capturing and their business model implications. Other research streams deal with the Engagement of people in innovation activities and with innovation strategies (paying particular attention to the innovation of meaning and technology epiphanies) and agile approaches.
