Sergio Terzi is professor of Industrial Technologies (M.Sc. in Management Engineering) and Design and Management of Production Systems (M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering). His main research interests are in the field of Advanced and Smart Manufacturing (also said Industry 4.0), with special attention to the role of digital technologies and sustainability. He is serving as a Delegate to the International Relationships for the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering. He is also serving as Associate Dean in the Graduate School of Management (GSoM).

Massimo Tavoni is Professor of climate change economics and scientific director of the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (eiee.org). His research is about designing strategies and policies for solving climate change, and other energy and environmental issues.

Elena Tappia, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor, currently teaching course of Operation Management Laboratory at Politecnico di Milano and Logistics Management within Master programs at MIP-Graduate School of Business. She is also the Director of the Contract Logistics Observatory. Her research focusses on the design of Automated Warehouses and Logistics systems, Contract Logistics and eCommerce Logistics. Her work has been published in various leading international journals.

Lucia Tajoli is Full Professor in Political Economics. She graduated summa cum laude in Economics at Università Bocconi (Italy) in 1988, she received the Diploma in Advanced International Economic Policy Research from the Kiel Institute of World Economics (Germany) in 1991, and she obtained her Ph. D. in Economics at Università Bocconi in 1994. She teaches Economics and International Economics. She collaborates with Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale (ISPI) in Milan, and with the Italian Trade Agency (ex-ICE). She has frequently been visiting scholar and visiting professor at the Ford School of Public Policy of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (USA).

Fabio Sdogati is Professor of International Economics (retired) at Politecnico di Milano. He holds a BSc from the University of Roma, a MS and a Ph.D. (Economics) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA). He has been a Jean Monnet Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute and Associate Professor of Monetary Economics at the University of Parma. He acknowledges research support from the European Commission, the Italian National Research Council, the Miles Foundation, the Italian Ministry for University and Scientific Research. Currently he is Professor of International Economics and Director of Educational Public Programs at MIP Politecnico di Milano School of Business.
