Digital tools have become an ubiquitous fixture in the current social landscape, and schools must play their part in teaching young people how to use digital technology responsibly and effectively. Schools are, therefore, expected to bring digital technology into their organisational and administrative processes.

Though MIDIS, school heads and other teachers (particularly those with special functions such as promoting digital innovation in schools) interested in this subject can gain a global perspective on digital innovation in schools and the management tools supporting the changes brought about by its introduction into schools.
The course will concentrate on two main areas. The first concerns the management side, to give teachers the tools to govern and sustain the change; the second concerns the teaching side, and has the two-fold purpose of providing ideas on using technology in teaching and of teaching the participants to use specific tools.
