Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals

The success of a luxury brand is strongly dependent on successful management strategies, techniques, and approaches that are potentially able of generating value to customers, brands, and other stakeholders. It is vital that luxury managers are equipped with the right skills to manage a brand in a booming economy and during downturns. Luxury brands are very slow in imbedding digital strategies into their business models and values chains, and a process of digital transformation is urgently needed to ensure that luxury value is realized, thus balancing the needs, and meeting the expectations of various stakeholders.
With the aim of fulfilling this growing need in the Luxury Business Management scenario, MIP Politecnico di Milano and Istituto Marangoni have decided to collaborate in the joint development of the Global Master for Luxury Business Progessionals – a 12-month modular programme – which awards participants with an MIP diploma and a Diploma Certificate issued by Istituto Marangoni.

WHY CHOOSE US?

The international course Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals aims to train professionals who already work in the field (or are interested in starting a new career) on its latest developments and shifts. In a sector continuously evolving and adapting to the updated needs and behaviors of its consumers, it is key to be trained on the main features and characteristics of luxury brands, and how new technologies and the digital experience have become a predominant asset. Furthermore, participants will learn about how luxury brands have updated their business models through new practices such as disruptive innovation and experiential marketing – as well as the unique opportunity to experience first-hand how luxury is managed in key world capitals such as Milan, Paris and London.

The programme is aimed at developing the competences of current and future managers of Luxury Industry in managing luxury businesses, and improving their approaches to risk management, decision making, and leadership. It provides participants with ample opportunities to engage and interact through different projects, and tasks, with various industry speakers, academics, industry experts, analysts, and consultants from the luxury world, thus engaging the academic and practical aspects of luxury management in an integrated manner.

Thanks to the Schools’ unique partnerships, students will enter into direct contact with companies, through business seminars, lectures and company visits.

The Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals aims at transferring to luxury professionals indispensable skills needed to manage a brand, through an in-depth and integrated focus on the topics that bridge the gap between creative and business worlds:

Managing a luxury brand under different scenarios, focusing on strategic, managerial, and social areas of luxury retail business and industry dynamics.

Designing innovative strategies that capitalize on the dynamic nature of the luxury field, to meet the current and future needs of the stakeholders.

Transforming luxury business models, and value chains through a deep understanding of the complex relationships between supply chain management, disruptive innovation, pricing, experiential marketing, and digital transformation

Adopting data-driven strategies to rethink the approaches and frameworks around value creation, sustainable luxury, leadership, and performance management.

PROGRAMME

The kick off of the master is in September 2022.

The Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals is a 1-year programme. The academic structure is divided into 5 main blocks and ends with a final Project Work.

DIGITAL LEARNING

Students can participate to courses:

  • In synchronous mode with participation in live sessions for Tuesday and Thursday lessons (7pm-9pm CET);
  • In asynchronous mode (viewing of clips and recording of live sessions in case of absence).
FACE-TO-FACE WEEKS

The programme includes three full face-to-face weeks in Milan, Paris and London.

 

It will be possible to choose whether to join the international weeks online (if the activity can be attended remotely) or in person (if permitted) without any limitation, in order to manage your time in the most efficient and serene way.

During the second half of the Master, participants are required to carry out a Project Work, which will be discussed at the end of the course. The objective of the Project Work is to develop a consultancy project with the support of the Faculty. Working closely with professors and researchers, participants in the programme will have the opportunity to apply the tools and methods learned during the Master to tackle issues of interest to companies and build relationships of great value to their professional careers.

The Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals students can also benefit from the support of the Career Development Office (CDO) which allows them to work on their self-branding, on their soft skills as well build a relevant professional network.

The Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals can also boast of a collaboration with professionals with consolidated experience in the field of luxury who are able to transmit the lessons learned and best practices derived from their work experience. This translates into a highly hands-on approach based on lessons with real cases, exercises, group work and project work supervised by professors.

Contributions are mostly merit-based and based on academic excellence, personal and professional achievement, particularly strong leadership potential, and superior interpersonal skills. WHY CHOOSE US?

Big corporations and consultancies need to strategically blend market innovation and transformation processes, specifically redesigning the internal mode to conceive new products and business models. To tackle such big challenges, companies are intrigued by skillsets that combine strategy and design.

The role of designers in corporations has dramatically changed over recent years and it is still evolving: designers are asked to not only own the scope of the overall project, identifying novel opportunities and mobilising means for achieving them, but also to lead innovation and strategic processes, managing agencies and resources, analysing data and generating valuable insights. At the same time, companies are looking for managers well equipped with a design attitude as a powerful tool to blend client and stakeholder perspectives with market opportunities, to envision strategic directions that leverage emerging behaviours, new socio-cultural trends and the opportunities provided by digital technologies.

To meet these growing needs, MIP Politecnico di Milano and POLI.design have jointly developed the International Master in Strategic Design for Innovation and Transformation (SDIT), a 1-year programme structured in four main content blocks. The SDIT intends to involve executives who want to combine an investment in knowledge with their work commitments. The SDIT aims to train professionals and executives in combining design attitude and abilities with classical analytical-managerial skills. This entails planning, coordinating, and implementing consistent design operations and processes to meet the design direction, the strategic framework, and performances targets.

The Master SDIT aims to prepare designers and managers for navigating and driving the actual complex challenges, which means being able to:

Imagine meaningful innovations able to improve human wellbeing and to impact society;
Inspire colleagues and stakeholders to pursue strategic transformation;
Lead design projects activating virtuous employee engagement and breaking the culture of silos among different business areas;
Exploit the opportunities provided by digital technologies through the interplay between artificial intelligence and human intuition as well as big and thick data;
• Stimulate entrepreneurial mindsets to activate and promote agile projects;
• Organise the creative process to favour the integration with operations.

PROGRAMME

The kick off of the master is in September 2022.

The International Master in Strategic Design for Innovation and Transformation (SDIT) is a 1-year programme. The academic structure is divided into 4 main blocks and ends with a final Project Work.
This programme includes a combination of different initiatives: face-to-face experiences such as company visits to meet innovation and design managers, a cultural tour to witness the Italian evolution of design, and a visit to professional Labs of modern masters of design. Furthermore, during the Master course, candidates will participate in two Digital Bootcamps: remote workshop sessions promoted by leading design-driven companies.

A typical week for our students is structured as follows:

WEEK type A: Video Clips available on the Digital Platform (max 16) + One Live session (2.5 hours)

OR

WEEK type B: Two live sessions (2.5 hours each)

Each course will last for two weeks and can combine the two structures (A+B) or include two live sessions for each week (B+B).
Live sessions are held online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.00 until 9.30 PM CET.

The Master is divided into 4 main blocks:

INNOVATION AND DESIGN

The “Innovation and Design” block interprets strategy making as a process strongly affected by the development of innovation and the role that design plays in the organisation. Mainly, it provides an overview of strategy-making concepts related to a specific industrial setting where creativity management and design represent key assetsHere, the idea of strategy making is interpreted through the lenses of design, where the concepts of “design-driven” innovation, the close link between planning and execution, and the human-centricity principles tend to update the classical and orthodoxical strategy-related constructs. On the other handthe block treats Corporate Entrepreneurship and Organisation Transformation as fundamental components to sustain continuous renewal and align the organisational posture to the strategic purposes. Strong emphasis will be placed on the concept of Strategic Design to bring strategic thinking down to the product-service system level. A deep-diving experience on how design-driven companies work is provided thanks to innovation classes and design managers who share their experiences with students. The group projects proposed by innovative companies and supported by them are part of the training programme and add a unique chance for students to work on real cases in close connection with design-driven companies.  

LEADERSHIP AND ENGAGEMENT

The “Leadership and Engagement” block provides an overview of theories and actional behaviours to illustrate leadership to create a culture of innovation, inspiring the team and stakeholders and activating a virtuous process of engagement across organisational silos. As has been recognised, unexpected obstacles and inertia are common in innovation and design projects. Here, designers and innovation managers are required to learn how to embrace complexity, identifying the key aspects underpinning a sound involvement of all the actors necessary to create the expected outcome. This part of the Master presents the different nature of Leadership: effectively developing capabilities to manage change and innovation in organisational contexts. The block connects Decision-Making approaches with an in-depth review of the constructs of Organisational Behaviour and Business Process Management. Furthermore, the conclusive part presents the overlapping area between Design culture and Organisational culture; the overview of the primary Design culture principles/pillars is presented as a means to nurture a culture of innovation in organisations by increasing employee engagement and their creative capacity. Designing spaces that facilitate interaction and the sparking of creativity, conceiving an intangible infrastructure that enables participation and inclusion, and developing a culture oriented to “learn by failure” are all part of that game. The block alternates theoretical lectures with testimonials by design leaders that will show how design culture penetrated a business culture adding new meanings, novel values, and actionable principles.

DATA AND CREATIVITY

The “Data and Creativity” block is hinged on the central theme of data. Over the last twenty years, the subject of data has profoundly changed how companies create strategies, generate innovations, and interface with users. While Big Data provides immediate market feedback on consumer preferences and trends, creativity often works with other data: it analyses the dataset differently from the way in which data mining systems can. Creativity feeds on 'weak' data, peripheral data that is not collected globally, but derived from a specific context of use. It is data that some people call “weak”, but which sparks creativity. After a general overview of the role of Big Data in innovation strategies and processes, the block will focus on how to conduct User research and gather qualitative data to generate valuable insights. Thus, the content will present how to transform services leveraging multiple data sources and how data can be grasped, organised and framed to support and induce creativity in the team. The Master explores the concept of data-driven design through specific applications and the voice of innovation managers who run consulting projects where data plays a key role.  

DESIGN OPS AND TRANSFORMATION

The “Design Ops and Transformation” block aims to break down the myth of the designer and his chaotic work outside the organisational rules and business procedures. In successful organisations, the development of the design process is planned and framed as a flow of operations where actors, activities, tools, and enablers of creativity have to be connected among themselves and with other parts of the organisation. According to that frame, creativity needs to govern the design process while considering the organisation’s purpose, the talents inside the organisation walls, the knowledge sharing mechanism and the overall structure associated with the power flow. After an overview of open innovation and collaborative mechanisms logic, the block focuses on modern creative project management methodologiesagile methodologies, design methods and the organisational rules underlying UX/UI projects. The modules in this block articulate advanced didactic methods that see the cohabitation of the discussion of case studies, the development of group projects, and the introduction of some software related to the management of DesignOps.

MIP Politecnico di Milano awards contributions to deserving participants in the SDIT programme. The contributions are in recognition of outstanding merit or achievement in both the academic and professional fields. The criteria for each contribution is diverse, with some of them open to all applicants, whilst others are specifically designed for applicants based on individual circumstance.

Candidates should indicate in the application form if they would like to apply for financial aid at the time of application. Later requests for financial aid will not be considered.

HOW DOES THE FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM WORK?

MIP 4 WOMEN

The MIP for Women Tuition Waiver is to be awarded to selected female participants in the program who have demonstrated outstanding merit and achievement in an academic or professional sense. MIP 4 Women Tuition Waivers are available at the amount of up to €4,000 each.

THE ALTERNATIVE TO A STUDENT LOAN.

As a social business, Deutsche Bildung supports German students since 2007. Monthly as well as single and returning payments guarantee a completely flexible financing of almost all programs and subjects in Germany and abroad. Additionally, the extra-curricular-program WissenPlus focuses on the improvement of important social and professional competencies. The repayment is income-linked: students pay back a fixed percentage of their future income over a certain period of time once they have entered their first job successfully. No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specialising Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per the Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialisation or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The first level Master Degree will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits.

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries.

In today’s increasingly complex competitive scenario, a strong competitive advantage can be achieved by integrating the activities of all the different areas involved in delivering products and services to customers. In order to do so, a growing number of companies are appointing a Chief Operations Officer to coordinate the different functions. In this context, Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 are an emerging technological breakthrough, and one of the main issues Operations Managers will have to address in their activities. PROGRAMME

The International Master in Smart Operations and Industry 4.0 is a 12-month International Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano. The course seeks to provide participants with the capability to manage the challenges of Industry 4.0, combining the process, the product and the technological view. Moreover, the programme is characterised by innovative teaching methods with smart learning, an extensive use of real case studies, and practical experience at MADE – the top Italian competence centre for Industry 4.0.
The master is taught entirely in English.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

Who is eligible for the programme?

Students with a bachelor degree of 3 or 4 years (minimum 180 ECTS) or higher are eligible to apply.
English knowledge is a compulsory requirement.

How long is the programme?

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language is the programme taught?

The programme is taught in English, although there are opportunities for students to study the native language of the country of study throughout the programme.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium for the course is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although they will be given the opportunity to do so.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specialising Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per the Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialisation or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The first level Master Degree will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits.

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries.

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided with textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

As members of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, we are aware that profound interlinkages exist between business enterprisessociety and the environment. A lasting improvement in the economic performances of firms and countries can be achieved only if people and their dignity are protected, social welfare is enhanced, natural resources are managed efficiently and the global environment is defended, business ethics is promoted. At the same time, we know that corporations may be a positive agent of change. Firms, alone or in partnerships with other private or public players, are at the origin of many of the technological, organizational, institutional innovations that maximize economic growth, social cohesion and environment conservation in a balanced way, and create a truly sustainable value. It is for this reason that concepts such as responsible businesssocial innovationsustainable business models, industrial sustainabilityresources efficiency and circularity, and the associated analytical and operational instruments, have an increasing weight in the School’s programs, and in our research and knowledge transfer activity. As a School that operates at the intersection between engineering, management and economics, we dive into solutions for sustainability at all levels of management. In addition to the implications for policy and strategy making, we investigate and teach how sustainability change corporate processes, supply chains, operations and technologies across different industries. This led MIP to create 4 new International Masters in Sustainability.

PROGRAMME

DOUBLE DEGREE OPTION - BI Norwegian Business School
Candidates joining the International Master in Sustainable Finance will have the possibility to apply for the Double Degree option at BI Norwegian Business School (Norway).
The Double Degree partnership will offer 5 selected candidates to take up the second year of studies in Norway. Candidates will need to undergo a selection process during the first year of studies at MIP (Italy) in order to be accepted for the BI-MIP Double Degree programme.
The tuition fee is 22,000 + €100 (towards enrolment expenses), and candidates will obtain the Master of Science in Business major Sustainable Finance from BI Norwegian Business School in addition to the First Level Specialising Master from Politecnico di Milano.

Who is eligible for the International Masters in Sustainability?

Students with a bachelor degree of 3 or 4 years (minimum 180 ECTS) or higher are eligible to apply.
English knowledge is a compulsory requirement.

How long are the International Masters in Sustainability

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language are the programmes taught?

The programmes are taught in English, although there are opportunities for students to study the native language of the country of study throughout the programme.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium for the courses is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although they will be given the opportunity to do so.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specialising Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per the Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialisation or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The first level Master Degree will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits.

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries.

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided with textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

ADMISSIONS

STATUS OF APPLICATIONS: APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022 INTAKE ARE OPEN.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis. Since the number of seats in class is limited, candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Should the course become fully subscribed before the deadline dates, applications will close earlier.

Non-EU students are encouraged to apply at least three months before the start of the programme in order to allow enough time for the Statement of Comparability of the degree and application of the student visa.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

You will be contacted for the Motivational Interview in English, which will take place online.

STEP 3: COMMUNICATION OF THE FINAL ADMISSION DECISION

If the result of the selection interview is positive, you will receive the final admission and scholarship (if any) decision by email.

STEP 4: CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

Upon receipt of the admission offer, you will be required to pay the first instalment of EUR 2500 within 15 days of the date of receipt of the offer letter should you wish to confirm your participation to the programme (a short extension to this deadline can be requested in case you are applying for an education loan, external scholarship etc, or for any other viable reason).

DEA CAPITAL ESG TALENT

The DeA Capital S.p.A. initiative for the awarding of two scholarships worth 7,500 Euros each, for the 2022 intake of the International Master in Sustainable Finance, is now open.

In order to compete for the "DeA Capital ESG Talentscholarships, candidates must have completed the application for the Master in Sustainable Finance by submitting their updated CV and a letter of motivation and have been admitted to the Master. Furthermore, candidates are required to prepare and share a project for the development of a fund in the Private Equity or Real Estate sector, with strong planning quality in the ESG field and significant innovation elements. The project is named the "ESG Dream Fund".

PROGRAMME

The International Master in Media and Communication Management is a 12-month International Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano, which will provide students with new skills and innovative ideas at the intersection between creativity and analytical skills. This aim is pursued through training methods that, rather than providing a series of theoretical notions, are instead aimed at favouring teaching based upon practical aspects, on the discussion of business cases and with strong interaction between participants and the professor. At MIP, you will uncover your potential and empower your skillset about media and communication.

The master is taught entirely in English.

Who is eligible for the IMMCM Programme?

Students with a bachelor degree of 3 or 4 years (minimum 180 ECTS) or higher are eligible to apply.
English knowledge is a compulsory requirement.

How long is the IMMCM Programme?

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language is the programme taught?

The programme is completely taught in English.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium for the course is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although there might be the opportunity to do so.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specializing Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialization or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The first level Master Degree will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits.

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities in their home countries regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries.

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided with textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

STATUS OF APPLICATIONS: APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022 INTAKE ARE OPEN.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis. Since the number of seats in class is limited, candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Should the course become fully subscribed before the deadline dates, applications will close earlier.

Non-EU students are encouraged to apply at least three months before the start of the programme in order to allow enough time for the Statement of Comparability of the degree and application of the student visa.

Major of the International Master in Digital Transformation

Cybersecurity is becoming more and more relevant in all organisations, due to ever- growing digitalisation of activities in a globally hyper-connected world.
The diffusion of ICT has dramatically increased the risks of a loss of confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, with potential huge financial impacts (and sometimes putting the survival of organisations themselves at risk). Also, Covid-19 (and the consequent lockdown, which imposed a massive use of home/smartworking) clearly showed that business organisations, public administration and end users are often unaware of risks (or, anyway, unable to manage them properly). Indeed, the number of cases of hacking and fraud during the Covid-19 emergency increased dramatically. Hence, companies understood that they need to strengthen this area by acquiring new competences and skills to protect their business from cyber risk. The Master will prepare students for a leadership role that strengthens organisations by understanding cybersecurity risks, the possible impacts on business and possible countermeasures, with important insights into governance, compliance, and regulatory issues. Through experiential learning, case study analysis, and the illustration of leading security technologies taught by expert faculty members, students will develop key management skills for realising a corporate cybersecurity plan.

PROGRAMME

The International Master in Cybersecurity Management is a 12-month International Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano and in partnership with Bip and Seta, that will increase the students’ technical competences in the cybersecurity area and complement their technical profile with the ability to read business dynamics, understand the implications of decisions for business and operate with the purpose of mitigating the overall enterprise risk level. The Master is also developed in close collaboration with Accenture, Intesa (an IBM Company) and PwC.

The master is taught entirely in English.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

Who is eligible for the IMCyM Programme?

Students with a bachelor degree of 3 or 4 years in STEM disciplines (minimum 180 ECTS) or higher are eligible to apply.
English knowledge is a compulsory requirement.

How long is the IMCyM Programme?

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language is the programme taught?

The programme is taught in English, although there are opportunities for students to study the native language of the country of study throughout the programme.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium for the course is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although they will be given the opportunity to do so.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specialising Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per the Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialisation or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The first level Master Degree will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits.

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries.

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided with textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

ADMISSIONS

STATUS OF APPLICATIONS: APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022 INTAKE ARE OPEN.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis. Since the number of seats in class is limited, candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Should the course become fully subscribed before the deadline dates, applications will close earlier.

Non-EU students are encouraged to apply at least three months before the start of the programme in order to allow enough time for the Statement of Comparability of the degree and application of the student visa.

We are looking for students with a clear approach to innovation and entrepreneurship, with a multidisciplinary backgrounds, who are willing to increase or develop their technical competences in the cybersecurity area but complement their technical profile with the ability to read business dynamics, understand the implications of decisions for business and operate with the purpose of mitigating the overall enterprise risk level.

This master is open to all students willing to develop key management skills for becoming cybersecurity professionals. Cybersecurity is becoming more and more relevant in all organisations and the demand for highly skilled professionals is growing significantly. According to Cybersecurity Ventures by 2021, it’s projected that there will be 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs globally.

STEP 1: ONLINE APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION

STEP 2: SCREENING OF CANDIDATURE

You will be contacted for the Motivational Interview in English, which will take place online.

STEP 3: COMMUNICATION OF THE FINAL ADMISSION DECISION

If the result of the selection interview is positive, you will receive the final admission and scholarship (if any) decision by email.

STEP 4: CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

Upon receipt of the admission offer, you will be required to pay the first instalment of EUR 2500 within 15 days of the date of receipt of the offer letter should you wish to confirm your participation to the programme (a short extension to this deadline can be requested in case you are applying for an education loan, external scholarship etc, or for any other viable reason).

Please note that the admission process for the master is on a rolling basis, therefore the sooner you apply the more chances you will have of securing your place in the class, as capacity may be reached before the final application deadlines.

Does the IMCyM programme have a letter of recommendation form?

FEES AND BENEFITS

The programme costs €18,500. This amount covers the entire length of the programme, although it does not include living and travel expenses.
The tuition fee is €9,500 for alumni who completed a Master of Science programme at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2019.

Applicants for the 2022 intake of the International Junior Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. The reductions will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, early applications are encouraged. Candidates wishing to apply for financial aid must make their request on the application form at the time of application – later requests for financial aid will not be considered.
