PROGRAMME

The International Master in Marketing Management, Omnichannel and Consumer Analytics is a 12-month Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano that aims to provide a solid background for facing the challenges of contemporary marketing practice: digital marketing, mobile marketing, non-conventional marketing, omnichannel communication, quantitative and (big) data-driven marketing. The Master incorporates brand management and creativity.
This Master in marketing matches a solid theoretical background with continuous applications to real business situations also thanks to our world-class partners, always keeping an
international perspective but also introducing the specificities and the uniqueness of Made in Italy. In particular, the programme includes the following practical activities: lessons, workshop on soft skills empowerment, company presentations, project work in collaboration with companies, company visits, alumni talks, Italian Way, Biomarketing Lab, Digital marketing business game.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

Students will spend two terms in Milan working on five major modules, followed by a summer project work and the option to take elective courses.
The Master’s academic structure features four fundamental blocks: generalist content, specialised content, concentrations and Project Work. The first of these, the generalist content segment, has a dual purpose: it both lays the foundations for the subsequent specialised in-depth studies and also provides participants with a standardised overview so that they can start their journey from the same place, irrespective of their initial knowledge based on their various backgrounds. The generalist content is divided into General Management, Basics of Digital Transformation and Soft Skills.

Who is eligible for the IM4 Programme?

Students with a 3- or 4-year bachelor’s degree with an equivalent of 180 or 240 ECTS or higher are eligible to apply.
Knowledge of English is a compulsory requirement.

How long is the IM4 programme?

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language is the programme taught?

The programme is taught in English, although there are opportunities for students to study Italian throughout the course.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium of instruction is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although they will be given the opportunity to do so.

How many students are there on the programme?

The average class size is around 25 students.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specializing Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialization or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The Master Degree of first level will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits. 

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities in their home countries regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries. 

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

At MIP we have an academic faculty specialised in innovation and digital technologies and we have been working for years alongside innovative companies, startups and business incubators. Together with them we have developed the International Master in Innovation and entrepreneurship, a programme of absolute international excellence, designed to train women and men who excel in business analysis and have digital skills and entrepreneurial mindset.

The master also offers the possibility of getting a MSc in Entrepreneurship from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management by attending an additional year at WHU.

Students interested in being awarded the MSc degree issued by WHU have a double option:

– To choose and decide, before the beginning of the master programme deliver by MIP, to attend the entire programme (so, the 1st year at MIP and the 2nd year at WHU), by signing a Training Student Contract with each institution before the start of the programme including the details related to the full programme; students will have the right to cancel the Training Student Contract with WHU up until one month before the start of the 2nd year;
– To enroll first in the master programme delivered by MIP and then, by February of the year 1 (one), to decide to attend also the second year at WHU: in this case they will be required to sign the second Training Student Contract specifically focused on the second year of the master programme.

Joint Program in Entrepreneurship:

- 1st year spent at MIP, with the enrolment in the “International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (iMIE), from September 2022 to September 2023. To those who will positively complete this programme, Politecnico di Milano will award the 1st level Specialising Master degree in ““International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (60 ECTS)
- 2nd year spent at WHU, with the enrolment in the “Master in Entrepreneurship” (MiE), from September 2022 to September 2023. To those who will positively complete this programme, WHU will award the Master of Science degree in “Master in Entrepreneurship” (90 ECTS)

The students that fulfill the graduation requirements at each Party and satisfy the regulations of each one, will be awarded the following degrees:
- 1st level Specialising Master “International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (60 ECTS), awarded by Politecnico di Milano, after the completion of the 1st year.
- Master of Science degree “Master in Entrepreneurship” (90 ECTS), awarded by WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, after the completion of the 2nd year.

Please note that, after graduating from the master programme, international students could stay in Germany for 18 months in order to find a job or to study further.

The tuition fees are EUR 18,500 for the first year and EUR 17,500 for the second year.

BEST ALUMNI ENTREPRENEUR

The Best Alumni  Entrepreneur scholarship, offered in collaboration with the Gianluca Spina Association, will give one meritorious candidate the possibility to benefit from a €5,000 discount on the tuition fee of the programme.

Candidates interested in applying for this scholarship are required to write an original essay of a few pages in length (2-3) on the topic “The Right To Fail:  Key to Entrepreneurial Action?”

PROGRAMME

The International Master in Supply Chain and Procurement Management is a 12-month Master programme offered by MIP Politecnico di Milano, that seeks to instruct students on managerial topics relevant to  Supply Chain and Procurement Management with special focus on today’s important areas such as Supply Chain Big Data and Analytics, Technology, Innovation and Sustainability. The programme also includes the following practical activities: lessons, seminars held by international lecturers, workshops on soft skills empowerment, company presentations, project work in collaboration with companies, company visits, international study tour in Rotterdam
The master is entirely taught in English.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

Students will spend 2 terms in Milan followed by summer project work. Additionally, in spring the students will go on a study-tour to the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
The Master’s academic structure features four fundamental blocks: generalist content, specialised content, concentrations and Project Work. The first of these, the generalist content segment, has a dual purpose: it both lays the foundations for the subsequent specialised in-depth studies and also provides participants with a standardised overview so that they can start their journey from the same place, irrespective of their initial knowledge based on their various backgrounds. The generalist content is divided into General Management, Basics of Digital Transformation and Soft Skills.

Who is eligible for the iMSCPM Programme?

Students with a 3- or 4-year bachelor’s degree of in management, business, engineering or scientific disciplines (minimum 180 ECTS) or higher are eligible to apply. Knowledge of English is a compulsory requirement.

How long is the iMSCPM programme?

The programme is 12 months long.

In what language is the programme taught?

The programme is taught in English, although there are opportunities for students to learn the native language of the country of study throughout the programme.

Do I need to speak Italian?

No, as the medium for the course is English, students are not required to learn Italian, although they will be given the opportunity to do so.

How many students are on the programme?

The average class size is around twenty-five students.

Is there an age limit for the programme?

No, but the average age of the candidates is 20-25 years.

What type of degree/title will I obtain upon graduation?

Upon graduation, candidates obtain the First Level University Specializing Master from Politecnico di Milano which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and it is issued under the autonomous responsibility of Politecnico di Milano. With regard to the specific meaning of the 1st level master's degree, as per Bologna process, this is a 2nd cycle programme intended to provide students with further specialization or higher continuing education after completion of the first cycle. The Master Degree of first level will release 60 ECTS/CFU credits. 

Candidates are advised to check with the relevant authorities in their home countries regarding the validity/recognition of this title in their home countries. 

Will I have to buy textbooks?

No, you will be provided textbooks by the programme, with the cost included as part of the overall programme fee.

FEES AND BENEFITS

The programme costs €18,500. This amount covers the entire length of the programme, although it does not include living and travel expenses.
The tuition fee is €9,500 for alumni who completed a Master of Science programme at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2019.

Applicants for the 2022 intake of the International Junior Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. The reductions will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. PROGRAMME

The Masters in Big Data are 12-month Master programmes offered by MIP. The masters are designed to train young and highly-motivated candidates to achieve a series of formative goals through an experiential approach to both intellectual studies and hands-on application with labs, business cases, contributions by industrial partners and companies, and internships. FEES AND BENEFITS

The programmes cost €18,500. This amount covers the entire length of the programme, although it does not include living and travel expenses.
The tuition fee is €9,500 for alumni who completed a Master of Science programme at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2019.
MIP has partnered with Flywire to accept payments from international students worldwide: for more info, click here.

Applicants for the 2022 intake of the International Junior Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. The reductions will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, early applications are encouraged. Candidates wishing to apply for financial aid must make their request on the application form at the time of application – later requests for financial aid will not be considered.

Please note that we do not offer any full scholarships. The DSU and other scholarships offered by Politecnico di Milano and the Italian Government are not applicable for MIP’s programmes.
